Position Overview: Under the direction of Nursing Center management, the CNA is responsible for direct care of nursing center residents/patients.  CNA will work with Life Enhancement Director to run resident activities in the evenings.  Other responsibilities may include answering call lights, bells, or intercoms to determine resident needs, bathing, dressing, and undressing residents, serving food, transporting residents, assisting residents to walk, changing bed linens, taking and recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, and providing direct nursing care according to all organizational policies and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

People: The CNA will work as a member of our team ensuring the timely, compassionate, and appropriate care of residents. He/she will communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Quality: The CNA must adhere to all safety and procedural requirements in order to provide quality care. He/she must follow the documented care plan, perform correct transfers of residents, understand and follow correct equipment operations and activities, provide ROM/positioning and ambulation of residents, and assist in providing the least restrictive environment for residents. CNA must maintain a Colorado CNA license and must report any unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.


  • Must have current CNA certification
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Two years experience in long term care as a CNA is preferred
  • Experience with dementia / Alzheimer’s is highly desirable
  • Experience with Activities is also a plus


Schedule: Average 37.5 hours per week. Shift is 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM, 5 days per week, including every other weekend.
