Responsibilities of the Dishwasher include cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in all areas of the kitchen, nursing center, Sisters’ Convent, and Guest Dining Room, assisting in kitchen cleaning, and various other duties supporting kitchen operations and meal service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
People: The Dishwasher must work in a team environment with other kitchen staff and may occasionally assist in food preparation.
Quality: The Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen per the posted cleaning schedule and proper operation of the dishwashing machines. The Dishwasher is also responsible for reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions or defective equipment, scaling of dishwashing machines, ensuring appropriate temperature of dishwashing machines, and the proper drying and storing of dishes, etc.
Operational Excellence: The Dishwasher must adhere to all operational procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen and will perform other duties as required by the Director or Kitchen Manager.
Schedule: Average 20 hours per week, days and times may vary. We strive to create a schedule based on your availability as well as our need.
