Position Overview: The Stewarding Lead is responsible for ensuring all stewards are washing utensils, pots and pans, and dishes used in all areas of the Kitchen, Nursing Center, Sister’s Convent, and Guest Dining Room and returning them to proper locations. This is a working lead positon with ties to all aspects of the cleanliness of the Mt. St. Francis Culinary Services Department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
People: The Stewarding Lead will assist the Director in coordination of 5 – 7 Stewards, providing training, guidance, and problem resolution and will adhere to the Sisters of St. Francis’ Mission and Values.
Quality: The Stewarding Lead operates the dishwashing machine to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils, pre-rinses and racks all dishes, performs proper collection, washing, drying, and storing of dishes, cups, pots, pans, etc., and ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Operational Excellence: The Stewarding Lead ensures temperatures of the dishwashing machine are appropriate and that machines are properly cleaned and maintained.
Qualifications: Relevant experience is required.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week. Days and times may vary.
