Mission Statement:

We, the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perptual Adoration, Saint Joseph Province, are a Community of Catholic women religious.  We are called to continue the mission of Jesus as we follow in the footprints of Francis, Clare, and our foundress, Maria Theresia Bonzel.

Empowered by our charism of Eucharistic and lived adoration and the love we share in Community, we witness the Gospel Values of conversion, contemplation, poverty and humility by:

Among the many issues that need to be addressed, we have agreed to focus on the following for 2007-2008.

Our on-going ministry involves us in the following six areas:

1.    Collaboration with other groups, such as but not limited to:

2.    Continue on-going legislative advocacy on a timely basis

3.    Publish regular web site updates

4.    Participate in prayer vigils and peaceful witness

5.    Maintain a listserv for the province with timely Action Alerts and other pertinent information

6.    Maintain a modest collection of resource materials and be available to obtain resource materials from other sources, libraries, etc., as requested.
