Our Team

The team members of the Mount St. Francis Nursing Center are carefully selected and nurtured to skillfully perform their responsibilities while creating a warm and compassionate environment. Trained to help the residents feel comfortable in their home at Mount St. Francis, our team enables residents to make independent choices and provide input toward how each day is celebrated.

24-hour Skilled Nurse Care

Our capable and experienced nursing staff is dedicated to providing residents with the highest quality care possible. All of our RNs and LPNs maintain licensure in the state of Colorado.

Supporting our registered nurses is a team of Certified Nursing Assistants with the aptitude and sincere desire to work with the aged. As integral members of our nursing team, they provide our professional nursing personnel with hands-on assistance and work hard to ensure that our residents achieve the highest level of functioning and the most comfortable lifestyle possible.

Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy

With a focus on restoring function and preventing injuries, our fully trained and certified physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists assist residents with exercises that help:

  • Build strength
  • Increase mobility
  • Relearn necessary skills
  • Facilitate daily activities

Our comprehensive team of skilled therapists provides residents with the prevention and rehabilitation tools they need to maintain and/or improve their quality of health, as well as their quality of life. The restorative aides work with residents to maintain their ability to function at their highest level.

Social Services

Our social workers are dedicated to meeting the emotional, financial, educational and social needs of our residents, enhancing the experience of everyday life. In addition to individual, group, and interdisciplinary activities, social workers help residents and families navigate challenging transitions associated with long-term care, including the admission process, discharge planning and transfer to other facilities.

Life Enrichment Department

Our activity staff is experienced in developing and implementing programs that enrich our residents’ lives and offer activity choices to enhance the quality of each day. Our comprehensive menu of programs is designed to meet the specific needs of each resident and includes both individual and group activities, often involving community volunteers to provide increased variety, as well as broader social interaction.

Independent activities are designed based on past resident experiences and individual assessments, as well as input from our residents at their community meetings. Reading, books on tape, crafts, puzzles, games, music and clergy visits are just some examples. Group programs are many and varied, and may include the following:

Mt. St. Francis Spiritual ServicesSpiritual Services

The Spiritual Services Department, aligned with the philosophy and mission of the Mount St. Francis Nursing Center, provides spiritual care, guidance and comfort to our residents and families. Our primary focus is to promote the spiritual well-being and peace of mind of each resident.

In addition to the daily support and encouragement from our onsite Spiritual Services Director, as well as regular visits from the Sisters of St. Francis, we provide the following soul-nourishing offerings to the residents:

  • Daily Catholic Mass
  • Worship services for other faiths
  • Bible study and prayer groups
  • Memorial services
  • Comfort and support in difficult times, such as end of life or new diagnosis
