A Message from the Provincial

Sister Marietta SpennerWelcome and thank you for your interest in sharing our Franciscan way of life.

As followers of Saints Francis, Clare of Assisi, and our foundress Blessed Maria Theresia Bonzel, we seek to be joy-filled and grateful for this call, as daily we reaffirm our Yes!

Our form of life embraces the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; as we live poverty, chastity and obedience. This Gospel commitment to poverty, chastity and obedience frees us to give ourselves totally to our brothers and sisters–bringing about the reign of God.

We have freely answered God’s call living the Gospel with Christ as our center. Christ truly meets us as we serve His people in their needs.

As we move forward, we lean into God’s love, believing and crystalizing God’s call in our lives.
