What We Do

Our Saint Joseph Province sponsors several ministries: Mount Saint Francis Skilled Care Nursing Center; Franciscan Retreat Center; Franciscan Community Counseling; Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation; and Women Partnering. Our campus also provides the worship and administrative space for a growing and vibrant Saint Francis of Assisi Parish. We partner with the laity and with other religious communities in enfleshing the Franciscan Core Values of sacredness of persons, care of the poor, joyful service, partnership, stewardship and holism.

In addition to our communal ministry of prayer and presence, our Sisters’ individual ministries are as diverse as the gifts they bring to community.  We have chaplains, parish ministers, counselors, social workers, artists, accountants and more.
