  • The ministry of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation flows from the Mission and Vision Statements of the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration, Saint Joseph Province.

Mission Statement:

We, the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perptual Adoration, Saint Joseph Province, are a Community of Catholic women religious. We are called to continue the mission of Jesus as we follow in the footprints of Francis, Clare, and our foundress, Maria Theresia Bonzel.

Empowered by our charism of Eucharistic and lived adoration and the love we share in Community, we witness the Gospel Values of conversion, contemplation, poverty and humility by:

  • standing in solidarity with those who are in any way poor or powerless
  • addressing unmet needs of our times with justice, mercy and compassion
  • reverencing all of creation

Vision Statement:

We…,strive to become Christ to each other and all of humanity as we seek to become ever more contemplative and compassionate women.

Relying on our God with a hopeful and joyful spirit, we seek to collaborate with others to transform our world into a community of peace through justice.

As Franciscan women, following Francis and Clare of Assisi and our foundress, Maria Theresia Bonzel, we are committed to transform the world into a community of peace through justice:

  • promoting systemic change
